Learn How to Grow a Fig Tree from Cuttings (Like I Did!)

Propagating Fig Cuttings is a fun and worthwhile experience! You can grow your own baby fig trees from cuttings from existing trees.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Fresh Fig Cuttings Rooting Hormone Plastic Bottles or Pots Potting Mix  Plastic Bag for Covering Water Marker for Labeling

Choose healthy fig cuttings with signs of green growth or viability.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Fill small pots or bottles with damp potting soil. 2. Cut fig cuttings at a 45-degree angle. 3. Dip end of cutting in rooting hormone like Clonex. 4. Place plastic baggie on top to hold moisture. 5. Check regularly for growth!
